RSL WA Workforce Connect has secured funded training places for veterans and family members to complete the nationally recognised CPPFES2005 – Demonstrate First Attack Firefighting Equipment course through CIVMEC.

This training is designed to provide participants with practical fire safety skills, including how to identify fire types and safely use first attack firefighting equipment such as fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and fire hose reels in emergency situations.

Fire safety training is highly valued across many industries and is often required for roles where workplace safety and emergency response are critical. It is particularly beneficial for positions in sectors such as:

• Mining and resources
• Manufacturing
• Oil and gas
• Warehousing and logistics
• Facilities and maintenance
